What is Baghouse Trapcoat
Baghouse Trapcoat is a lightweight, high-performance amorphous silica precoat designed to protect baghouse filter media and improve air pollution control system efficiency. Applied as an initial protective layer or continuous conditioning feed, Trapcoat helps maintain filter porosity, extend cleaning cycles, and protect filter bags from abrasive particles, hydrocarbons, and sparks. Its environmentally safe, FDA-approved formulation makes it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including food processing facilities.
BAGHOUSE TRAPCOAT- Data Sheet
It is used to precoat the beginning or control layer on the fabric surfaces of the baghouse bags.
It is also applicable at a steady feed rate when high concentrations of pollutants exist. This conditioning feed provides continued porosity control, which greatly extends the cleaning cycle.
